Description
Fenwick Shield Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1830. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a graduated Lakeland slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The entrance includes a Victorian panelled door with a four-pane overlight above it. The farmhouse also has 16-pane sash windows. The roof is gabled with flat coping and has banded end stacks. Additionally, there is a large stair window located at the rear of the property.
