Description
The farm buildings north of Fenwick Tower consist of byres and stores that date from the medieval period, as well as the 17th and 18th centuries. They are constructed from squared stone and random rubble, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The buildings are single-storey and feature three bays. The entrances include boarded and stable-type doors set within 19th-century tooled-and-margined alternating-block surrounds. To the right of the door, there is a small square window with a double-chamfered surround.
At the east end of this range, there is a wall from a tower that is approximately 9 feet thick and about 20 feet high. A loop light can still be seen within an 18th-century lean-to that has been built against this wall.
