Description
The garden wall and gate located to the south of Fenwick Shield Farmhouse were built around 1830. The wall is made of roughly dressed stone and stands approximately 4 feet high, featuring flat coping. It ramps down from a higher section on the right and has a central gateway marked by plain arched piers. The gate itself is designed in an elaborate Rococo style, adorned with repeated scrolls and fleurs de lys.
