Description

The byres attached to the east of East Farmhouse date from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are constructed of random rubble and feature a Welsh slate roof. The structure consists of two separate buildings within one range. The right building is two storeys high; the ground floor is an early 18th-century byre with two plank doors set in chamfered surrounds. The first floor, added in the early 19th century, contains two half-slatted windows.

To the left is a single-storey byre, also from the early 19th century, which has two plank doors framed by tooled-and-margined alternating-block surrounds. The roof is gabled with flat coping. The byres are included for their group value.
