Description

This is a former railway bridge located 300 yards south of Chollerton, built in 1856 by William Hutchinson. The bridge is constructed of snecked stone and features two high round skew arches with rock-faced voussoirs. There are bands at the springing of the arches and broad flat buttresses at each end. The parapet is topped with rock-faced coping.
