Description

West Cocklaw Farmhouse is a house built in 1832. It is constructed from tooled squared stone and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. The central entrance has a six-panel door that is sheltered by a 20th-century glass conservatory. The windows are 16-pane sash types with slightly projecting sills. The gables are coped and have stepped end stacks, with the upper part of the left stack being rebuilt and rendered. At the rear, there are two single-storey wings that have hipped roofs. This farmhouse was built as one of a pair with East Cocklaw Farmhouse.
