Description
This stable and hearse house, located approximately 40 yards south-west of the Church of St. Giles, is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of three bays, with the hearse house recessed to the left. There is a central plank door set in a pointed-arched surround, which is topped by a gabled half dormer. On either side of the door are very small, possibly re-used lancet windows. The left corner of the building is canted and has double plank doors leading into the hearse house. To the right of the door, there is a mounting block. The roof is hipped.
