Description

Weetwood Hall is a house with a medieval core, largely dating to the late 18th century and 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar and has a local slate roof. The house is two storeys high and consists of seven bays arranged as 1:3:1:2. The right two bays represent an early 19th-century addition. Bays one and five project as cross-gabled wings, with a central parapet and a roof set back behind. The central section features a door within a plain, later 19th-century porch, and sash windows set within raised surrounds. Stilted-arched Venetian windows are found in the cross-gabled bays. Chimneys top the gable ends. The rear elevation is heavily buttressed and irregular, featuring sash windows and a single gable.

The interior reveals thick walls belonging to a former tower house, alongside an early 19th-century staircase and woodwork.
