Description
The roadside wall to the south and south-west of The Garden House is likely from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of squared tooled stone and stretches for 100 metres along the north side of the road. The wall features three gateways, with the eastern one serving as the entrance to The Garden House. It has a flat coping and ramps up at the junction with monolithic square domed gate piers, which are complemented by later iron gates.
