Description
The Joiner's Shop is an estate workshop built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from tooled stone, featuring tooled-and-margined quoins and lintels, and has a blue slate roof with a rendered stack. The building is two stories high and has four bays, with the left bay behind a later timber shed. There is a boarded door in the second bay, accompanied by two large boarded windows to the right and three part-slatted windows above. The gables are coped, and there is a stepped-and-corniced stack at the right end. The left side shows a large boarded window with a boarded pitching door above, while the right side has two boarded windows and a part-slatted window in the gable. The three-bay rear elevation features large boarded windows with part-slatted windows above. An adjacent shed to the west is not of special interest.
