Shelter Shed Block 40 Metres South West Of Park Farmhouse

The shelter shed block, located 40 metres south-west of Park Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It features an ashlar front and returns, while the rear elevation is constructed from rubble with tooled-and-margined dressings. The building has a Welsh slate roof and is single-storey with eight bays, characterized by an arcade of elliptical arches. The left return displays a four-bay arcade that is mostly blind, except for a boarded door and window in the left arch, and includes a pent extension with a sliding door on the far left. The right return has a three-bay arcade, also mostly blind, but features a later sliding door in the right arch. The rear elevation has projecting end bays with open-pedimented gables and a blacksmith's window in the left end bay. Timber structures adjacent to the rear are not of special interest.
