Description

DENWICK HULNE PARK NU 11 SE 10/76 Shelter shed block 40 metres south- west of Park Farmhouse GV II

Shelter shed block, early C19. Ashlar front and returns, rubble rear elevation with tooled-and-margined dressings; Welsh slate roof. 1 storey, 8 bays; arcade of elliptical arches. Left return shows 4-bay arcade, blind except for boarded door and window in left arch; on far left pent extension with sliding door. Right return shows 3-bay arcade, blind except for right arch with later sliding door. Rear elevation: projecting end bays have open-pedimented gables; blacksmith's window in left end bay.

Timber structures adjacent to rear are not of special interest.
