Description

This is a headstone located 2 metres south of the Church of St. Mungo in Simonburn, dating from 1783 and commemorating John Dinning. It is made of sandstone and stands 1.75 metres tall. The headstone features a shaped top with a raised moulded border. In the sunk panel, there is a depiction of a be-wigged head above angel wings.
