Wall, Gateway And Gates To North Of Old Vicarage, With Attached Gateway And Gate To Churchyard

This structure consists of a garden wall with gateways and gates located to the north of the Old Vicarage, dating from the early 19th century but incorporating older materials. The gates are from the late 19th or early 20th century. The wall is made of coursed rubble, while the gateways are constructed from squared stone. The gates for the Old Vicarage are wooden, and the churchyard gate is made of wrought iron.

The Old Vicarage gateway features a segmental arch with flanking pilasters, topped with flat coping and a central ball finial. The double gates have flat-topped stiles and a down-curved top rail above an open-studded upper section. The flanking walls have gabled coping. To the right, there is an earlier building incorporated into the wall, and at the far right, the churchyard gateway has a round arch beneath embattled cresting, holding a gate with fleur-de-lys standards and dogbars, a downswept top rail, and crossed lower rails.
