TOGSTON NORTH TOGSON NU 20 SE 8/220 Entrance screen and front wall to Togston House GV II

Entrance screen and garden wall. Screen probably mid-C19, wall C18. Squared stone with cut dressings. Square gate piers with attached jambs, plinth, moulded cornices and low pyramidal caps; quadrant walls, with plinth and low-pitched coping, link to end piers with low pyramidal caps. Older walls to either side; longer wall to left has coping ramped down, and runs for about 50 metres from pier. Included for group value.
