Description

The Powder House, located in a field 150 metres south of Sipton Terrace, is a 19th-century building associated with a lead mine. It is constructed from squared stone and features a stone slate roof. The structure is small and square with a gabled roof, and it is divided by an internal stone wall into two unequal compartments. There is a door in each gable, and the larger northern compartment includes simple board panelling.
