Description
This is a cartshed and granary built in the early 19th century, located 60 metres north of Low Buston Hall in Warkworth. The west wall is made of squirted stone, while the other sides are constructed from rubble, featuring tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and has a waterproof covering, along with a yellow-brick stack.
On the west side, there is an arcade of nine segmental arches, some of which are boarded, and the right end arch is partly walled up. Above the arches, there are six small windows close to the eaves, each fitted with three-pane casements. The building has coped gables and a small 20th-century stack on the front wall near the right end.
The right return of the building features two similar windows, while the left return has a boarded pitching door and a similar window. The rear side includes a central stone stair leading to a boarded door, with three similar windows on each side.
