Description

This is a row of terraced houses built as part of the Howick Street development after 1831. The houses are two storeys and stepped upwards. They are constructed of ashlar and feature cill bands on the first floor, along with moulded eaves cornices. The roofs are slate with coped verges and brick chimneys that have been repaired. Numbers 5, 7, and 11 each have three windows, with a central door on the ground floor. Numbers 9 and 11 have two windows each. Most windows are glazing bar sashes, with the exception of the ground floor window of number 7 and those in number 11, where one first-floor window has been blocked. Numbers 7 and 11 incorporate a through-passage door to the right. Above the ground-floor entrances are rectangular panels with glazing bars. The former number 13 has been incorporated into number 12 Lisburn Street.
