Description

The archway to Cowgarth, dating from the 12th or 13th century, is located opposite the west end of the nave of St Andrew's Priory Church. It features a moulded dripmould above the arch and has a repaired parapet. This archway, along with the adjacent wall and the church, forms a cohesive group.
