Description

The Dennifer headstone, located 12 metres south of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, dates back to 1732. It is made of cut sandstone and features a small stone with a shaped top that is intricately carved with scrolls, foliage, and a central cherub. Fluted pilasters are positioned on either side of a concave panel, which is set within an elliptical-arched moulded surround. The headstone bears an inscription dedicated to William Dennifer.
