Description

This is an 18th-century building consisting of Nos 12 and 14, Holy Island. It is three storeys high and has four windows. The building is constructed of stone with a rendered front, and features raised surrounds to the windows and cill courses at the first and second floors. It has sash windows with glazing bars, which are narrower on the sides. The ground floor windows have stop-chamfered heads, and the window on the left has plate glass. There are four-panel doors on either side, also with stop-chamfered heads. A six-panel door is paired with the door of No. 12 to create a through passage to No. 14. The building includes small, old tiles and has undergone extensive brick repair work at the rear. Nos 8 to 10 (consecutive numbers) and Nos 12 to 14 (consecutive numbers), along with Nos 1 and 1A Glovers Place, form a group.
