Description

The bandstand, dated 1912, is an octagonal structure featuring a tented lower roof slope that supports a pointed cap topped with a gilt finial. It is supported by eight cast iron shafts adorned with Corinthian capitals and ornate scroll work brackets. The design includes a star ribbed sounding board and fringed eaves, with arcaded railings positioned between the shafts. A plaque from 1912 commemorates the gift of Henry Bell.
