Description

This is a medieval wayside cross located on the north side of the B6347, 120 metres west of the A1 junction in North Charlton, Eglingham. It is made of cut stone and features a three-stepped base, a square socket stone with chamfered upper angles, and a worn headless shaft. The overall height of the cross is approximately 2 metres.
