Description
The garages and outbuildings located south and west of the Blue Bell are 19th-century structures, dating from around 1820. Built from ashlar stone with a Welsh slate roof, they are arranged in an L-plan. The two-storey, three-bay block on the left features two carriage houses on the ground floor, each with boarded double doors. The first floor has three 6-pane sash windows. To the right, there is a single-storey, four-bay section that includes a boarded door, a 6-pane sash window, a boarded double door, and a slatted window. Extending further to the right is a long single-storey range with three boarded double doors and additional boarded doors leading to former stables. The roofs are gabled, with the two-storey section having a hipped roof on the left side. The left return of the two-storey section has blank windows on the ground floor and two 12-pane margined sashes on the first floor, forming a group with Nos. 4 and 5 Market Place.
