Description
The headstone located 2.5 metres south of the Church of St. Mary is a Grade II listed structure from 1762. It is made of sandstone and features a shaped top with relief carvings. The central design includes a cherub with a self-swallowing serpent above a scythe and crossed bones on the left, and a death's head with a book on the right. Below this, there is a cartouche inscribed with the name 'Ann, wife of Anth. Young of Plessy Mill'.
