HUMSHAUGH LINCOLN HILL NY 97 SW 2/272 Outbuildings adjacent to west end of Lincoln Hill House, with attached wall

GV II

Outbuildings. Mid-C19 remodelling of C18 fabric. Rubble with cut dressings; Welsh slate roofs. Single-storey ranges around small yard open to south. Right part, adjacent to house (q.v.) has 4-pane sash, and blocked doorway in chamfered surround to right; moulded corbels to eaves; coped left gable with tall rendered stack. Centre part, set back, has boarded door flanked by part- slatted windows, with passage entry to far right; all openings in stop-chamfered surrounds. Projecting left part has coped gable with moulded kneelers; inner return shows boarded double doors under timber lintel; outer return shows boarded door and 3 12-pane sashes, all in stop-chamfered surrounds; with blocked C18 slit vents between. Flanking the ridge a pair of slender, diagonally- set stacks, stepped and banded, with circular stone pots. Wall on south of yard has stop-chamfered gate piers with domed tops.
