Description

The gateway and garden wall to the north of Chillingham Castle date from the early 19th century and are constructed of dressed stone. The wall features an embattled design and includes a Tudor-style doorway. To the far left of the gateway, there is a square tower that has a Tudor arch and a vault behind it, supported by three transverse Tudor arches.
