Description
The Former Station Master's House is a house, likely built around 1835. It features ashlar front and side elevations, with a rubble rear and a slate roof. The eaves have paired brackets, and there is a rendered stack along with a corniced stone stack on the left gable. The house is one storey tall with three wide bays, the central bay projecting and having a bowed end. There are two half-glazed doors, one of which has 19th-century coloured margins. The windows are sash style, with the end bays lacking glazing bars, while the central bay has 12-pane sashes that are curved in plan. There are later additions at the rear.
