Description

The wall and piers located south-east of East Lodge were built in the early 19th century. Constructed from ashlar stone, the wall features a tooled-and-margined finish. It includes two low piers with plinths, decorative paterae on all four sides, bands, and urn finials. These piers are connected by low serpentine walls that have near-flat coping at the lower end piers, which are topped with knob finials. The railings that once adorned the structure have been removed.
