Description
The Old Vicarage is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with an extension added to the rear in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble that is faced in brick and rendered, topped with a tiled roof. The building has a T-plan layout and consists of two storeys with three bays. The façade features a six-panel door and sash windows, along with a string course. The roof is gabled with raised coping and brick end stacks. Inside, the ground floor walls are approximately 40 inches thick, becoming thinner on the upper floor. The first floor includes two panel doors, and there is a brick tunnel-vaulted cellar beneath the rear wing.
