Description
The Primitive Methodist Chapel, built in 1855, is constructed of ashlar stone and features a Welsh slate roof. It is a single-storey building with a layout of three by three bays. The chapel has raised alternating quoins and a broad central porch that includes a cornice band, a blocking course, angle pilasters, and a two-leaf panelled door set in a raised surround. Above the porch, there is a moulded panel that reads "PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHAPEL 1855." The building has tall, round-headed, small-pane sash windows in raised surrounds, and a hipped roof. Similar windows are located on the returns of the chapel.
