Description
The Red Lion Inn is an inn dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a concrete tile roof and features brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and three bays. At the center, there is a corniced porch that houses a four-panel door within a Venetian doorway. On either side of the porch are flanking Venetian windows, which have a 12-pane center and 8-pane side lights. The first floor is adorned with sash windows. The roof is steeply pitched and gabled, with flat coping and end stacks. Additionally, there are three late 19th-century gabled dormers, each fitted with 12-pane sashes.
