Description

Belsay Dene House is a late 18th-century house constructed of dressed stone with a Welsh slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays, featuring a plinth and rusticated quoins. The central entrance consists of a boarded door with an overlight set in a raised surround. The house has sash windows, also in raised surrounds, and includes ground and first-floor sill bands. The gabled roof is finished with flat coping and has corniced end stacks. Inside, there are two late 18th-century fireplaces.
