Description
High Linn is an early 19th-century cottage constructed from squared stone, featuring tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings. The roof is primarily covered with pantiles, except for the outshut, which has Welsh slates. The cottage is a single storey with three bays, and the front displays four-pane sash windows set in alternating-block surrounds. The gables have raised reverse-stepped coping, and there are stepped-and-corniced stacks at both ends and along the ridge. A doorway leads to the rear outshut. This solitary cottage is situated in an unspoilt moorland setting.
