Description

Milestone located approximately 200 yards west of the A696. This milestone dates from the early 19th century and is made of sandstone. It is a small triangular stone, around 2 feet high. One side is inscribed with "RB" for Rothbury, while the other side features an "H" for Hexham. The stone also has the number "15 1 6" inscribed on it.
