Description
This headstone, dated 1775, is located 7 metres southwest of the southwest corner of St. Peter's Church porch. It features a scrolled top that holds a central mask with feathered wings beneath, surrounded by a palmette border. To the upper right, there are books, and to the upper left, two cherubs are depicted trumpeting. The inscription commemorates Caleb and Jane Hunter and their three children. The craftsmanship is of good quality and displays some vernacular energy.
