Description
The farm buildings located to the west of Park Shield Farmhouse date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from rubble with tooled and margined quoins and dressings. The roofs are primarily slate, except for the stone slates found on the first and third cottages. On the west side of the yard, there is a threshing barn with attached ranges at each end. The southern range continues westward as a row of three single-storey cottages. Additionally, there is a circular gingang attached to the west side of the threshing barn, which features a hooded loading door with a conveyor cover on its east side. A separate group of buildings to the north is not of interest.
