Description
The summerhouse, built around 1914, is located at the east end of Grove Pond, 300 metres southeast of Blagdon Hall. It is designed in the style of a temple and constructed from squared tooled stone with ashlar dressings, topped with a pantile roof. Access is provided by six steps leading up to a forecourt. The structure features a plinth, cornice, and angle pilasters. It has a distyle in antis with a central pediment and a swept hipped roof that has overhanging eaves adorned with a moulded wood cornice. At the rear, there is an exedra.
