Description

Willow Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey and features alternating quoins, with the top and bottom ones being larger. The doorway has a canted head, and both the door and windows are framed by similar flat raised surrounds that include keystones and broaden at each corner. The cottage has 2-light mullioned windows, each fitted with 8-pane sashes in both lights. The gabled roof has flat coping and two stone corniced gable stacks. There are 20th-century additions on the left and right sides that are not of special interest.
