10/90 Ramshaw's Mill and Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse and former water mill. C18 and C19. Mainly random rubble. Farmhouse 2 storeys, 2 spans with mill buildings attached to left. Front span of house early C19. 3 bays with plank door in right bay, 2 C19 sashes to left and 2 above. Roof with flat coping to open-pedimented gables. Stone corniced gable stacks. Rear span early C18 with 2 horizontal sliding sashes. Very steeply pitched gabled roof with one end stack.

Attached to left of front span is mill building with rock-faced basement and buttress to rear. It has one slatted window, one blacksmith's window and entries to wheel housing. Hipped stone slate roof. In front of this a further mill building with canted left corner, irregular fenestration and outside stone stair on right return. Gabled roof with flat coping and one square stone gable stack. Farmbuilding attached to right of farmhouse not of special interest.
