Description

These garden walls, walled garden, and ha-ha wall date from the 18th and early 19th centuries. The older sections of the walling are constructed of random rubble, while later parts use dressed stone. The walls of the walled garden are brick-lined in a Flemish bond pattern.

Approximately 30 yards of old walling, standing around 9 feet high, is located to the right of the farmhouse and connects to a square walled garden. The walls of this garden are approximately 9 feet high on three sides and ramped down to create a lower wall on the south side. Projecting south from this is a wall about 5 feet high and 30 yards long, which is also ramped down to connect with the ha-ha that forms the garden's southern edge.
