Description

These are late 18th-century quay walls, part of a prominent Grade II group forming the river frontage of Berwick. Numbers 19 to 23 together constitute a Grade II group due to their close proximity to the Custom House and their overall quality. Number 19 is constructed of ashlar and has two storeys and a basement, with three sash windows on the upper floor.
