Description
The harness room and carriage house, located about 10 yards northeast of Melkington House, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with tooled-and-margined ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of five bays. There are boarded double doors on the left side, with additional boarded doors in bays two and five. Bays three and four feature paired four-pane sash windows. The roof is hipped and has a brick ridge stack. This structure is included for its group value with Melkington House.
