Description

This is a mid-to-late 18th-century farmhouse, with a slightly later farm cottage attached to the left, and an early 19th-century extension at the rear. Originally two separate dwellings, the buildings were converted into a single house before being returned to two houses in the early 21st century. The farmhouse and cottage are constructed of brick, with pebbledash render and clay pantile roofing. The farmhouse has clay tile gable copings replaced with stone. The farmhouse is two storeys high with three bays, featuring a central Victorian six-panel door and renewed sash windows in original openings, with a late 19th-century sash window inserted to the right of the door. It has rendered end stacks. The one-storey cottage, with a loft, has renewed sash windows, a door, and a rendered ridge stack. An early 21st-century glass-roofed verandah has been added to the front, along with a mid-20th-century brick battered buttress at the left end. A former boarded loft door in the left return has been replaced with glazing in the early 21st century. A one-storey rear outshut extends from the rear, featuring two catslide roofs.

The interior of the farmhouse includes an early 19th-century dogleg staircase with a moulded handrail, stick balusters, and a plain newel post, which was concealed by panelling in 1988. The cottage has an altered inglenook fireplace with a heck partition.
