Description
Nos 81 to 87 on Raby Road are four shop units built in 1936 by the W & T R Milburn Partnership, alongside the Odeon Cinema. The buildings are constructed of brick and feature a flat roof that is not visible. They form a single-storey continuation of the cinema's frontage, located at the north end. The right end has a quadrant-curved bay. There are paired doorways that are recessed beneath a continuous fascia and parapet topped with sandstone copings. The upper lights of the shop windows, glazed doors, and overlights have geometric-pattern glazing bars. These shops are included for their group value.
