Description

The building is a museum, formerly known as No. 49, dating from the early 18th century. It is a three-storey structure with a two-window front made of old red brick laid in a bond entirely of headers. The roof is covered with pantiles and features a chimney on the left end that has been stuccoed. The front has gauged segmental arches above sash windows set in exposed box frames, with a two-light window on the left. On the right side, there is a late 19th-century doorway made of industrial brick, which has "Museum" in raised lettering. The rear elevation remains original. The listing pertains only to the eastern part of the building.
