Description
No. 76 Haughton Green is an 18th-century house that stands two storeys high and features four windows. The building has undergone roof alterations first in the mid-19th century and then again in the late 19th century. It is constructed of handmade pinkish brick, although the front is now covered in roughcast. The roof is moderately low pitched and has pantiles, with the top nine courses made of late 19th-century red brick. The west gable end is made of whitish-grey brick and includes an attic window. There is a string course below the eaves that is interrupted in this gable end. The house has sash windows with glazing bars set in flush wood architraves. The entrance features a six-panel door flanked by panelled pilasters and topped with an entablature.
