Description

The remains of a village cross, dating from the medieval period, are located 15 metres west of the Church of St. Peter on Bishopton High Street. The cross was moved to its current position in 1883. It is made of sandstone and features a low, square-plan base with two stepped chamfered stages, where the upper stage has chamfered corners. The cross shaft is represented by a 0.2-metre high stump with a rectangular plan.
