Description

Nos 38 and 40 High Row are mid to late 18th century buildings, each standing three storeys tall with two windows. They are constructed of painted brick and feature stuccoed lintels above sash windows, although most of the window bars have been lost. The roofs are slated, with a moderate pitch on the left side and a high pitch on the right. The buildings have modern shop fronts and are included in the listing partly for their group value.
