Description

The George Public House is an early 19th-century, three-storey building located on Bondgate. It features three windows on the second floor and two pairs of windows below. The building has a low-pitched slated roof and is constructed of stucco with cill bands. The sash windows have moulded stucco architraves with raised centres that include medallions. On the ground floor, there are two canted bays, and to the left, there is a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight set within a wooden doorcase that has pilasters and a bracketed entablature.
