Description

The boundary stone, likely from the second half of the 18th century, is made of sandstone ashlar and stands approximately 0.8 metres high with a rounded top. It features well-cut Roman capitals, with the initials E/M inscribed on the west face, R & W/M on the east face, and TB/D on the south face. This stone marks the boundary between the civil parishes of Eggleston and Marwood.
